The Squigglies have gone Star Wars crazy as quite possibly most of the world, Episode VII is weeks away and we are all excited. Battlefront, while its mixed reviews and opinions has captured the heart and soul of the original trilogy. But with so little news on  DLC and season passes, my mind has gone into hyper-drive thinking off what content we could be getting over the next year or so. From a recent interview we have learnt DICE have a multiple year contract with Disney for a series of games all with full licensing over the Star Wars universe (including Episodes 1-3 and the future 7-9). So is it possibly not a coincidence that this current game is JUST based around the original trilogy. While not only being the best trology of films it also brings the nostalgia feel to everyone bringing people flocking back when there just so happens to be a new film too.

Over the next few years Episode 8 and 9 will be made and released making a total of three trilogies. It would not surprise me that DICE release a another two Battlefront game based on each trology.  So next I predit will be the questionable Episodes 1-3 trilogy Battlefront, this lends itself better to the battle side of Battlefront than the orignal Ep. 4-6, with the inclusion of the Clone Wars. With battles on Naboo, Genosis and the defence of the Wookies all featruing heavily. This will release with Ep.8 and act as a middle game, much like the film itself. (like all middle films in a trology). This will later tie perfectly with the Ep.7-9 Battlefront game being released with the final chapter (Ep.9) at the Cinemas.

So onto DLC and what to expect from this current Ep.4-6 Battlefront. Alot of battles and locations are missing in the game. Both the Death Star's being the biggest alsoThe Cloud City from Ep.5. All can be used as locations for maps possilby the Rebal base on Yavin from in Ep.4 too. Also strangly missing from the base game are space battles. Alot of the current aircraft of X-wings and Ties are in fact space fighters, designed for the cold harness of space NOT Hoth. With much of the epic set picecs and battles are set in space for this NOT to be included somewhere will be criminal. Dog fighting over the surface of the Death Star and a Trench Run is wanted by anybody who purchased the game. I predict a DLC will be released with a certain Episode in question. I.e. DLC named A New Hope, featuing the first Death Star as a spcae battle and with new infantry maps located from Ep.4 and so on with Emipre Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

Four new charactors are promised with DLC and with the fact the mightly Chewbacca isnt in the base game is crinal aswell, so expect the legondary Wookie as DLC but who else? Lando Calrissian played a massive part in the series so i'd expect him to be the other Rebel hero. But the empire is not so easy to predict, with the use of "normal people" like Han and Leia we can't rule out people without use of the Force. Grand Moff Tarkin out ranked Darth Vader in Ep.4 dispite his explosive death at the end of the first film, he would easliy fit the bill for a villian. The last Imperial hero is difficult to forsee, doubt they will use another Bounty Hunter as Bobo Fett was the only one really named and had more than three seconds of screen time. One of the Red Emperor body guards is a possiblity but there not really known and just looked they where there for show. One villian that is a prodominted feature is Jabba the Hutt. dispite his rather large size and trouble moving im sure the Devs can find a use for this oversized lizard/snake thing. ( they've got the old Emperor doing that barrel roll thing and Yoda's acrobatics from Ep.2.. why not?)

With so much content missing i hope the DLC will fill in these gaps and at the end of it all we have a true game reposenting the origanl trology. Its just a shame, DLC and seasons passes are involoed to begin with. Here's my deated rundown of missing and possilbe (should be inculded) with DLC.

There are no other land based vehcials seen in the three orignal films, hence the rebals lack of any vehcal other than air/space craft in the base. To expand this the game must look to space battles, which opens up a lot of possiblies.
